Sixt

Advertising, Print Design, 2013

During my internship at Jung von Matt, a briefing came in from Sixt, Germany's largest car rental company: the pillars in airports were to be used for creative advertising.

Together with a copywriter I developed this idea. It was installed at the airports in Bremen and Mallorca and stayed there for five years.

The headline “Mal wieder auf den Putz hauen” has a double meaning in German. As a saying it means to really live it up, a nod to Sixt's luxury cars. Taken literally it means hitting the plaster, which is exactly what the boxing glove punching the ceiling does.
