Intro call
Free and with no strings attached, we clarify what you need and whether we're a good fit. Then you get a clear proposal.
I'm Edgar, a senior visual designer from Hamburg with 10+ years of experience. I don't just design, I think things through with you.
Working with Edgar was not only a real pleasure, it also consistently led to the results we were aiming for. We particularly value his feel for design, his understanding across technologies and the impressive speed with which he turns ideas into reality.
Florian GoeckeCEO, halpy
Edgar listened carefully to all our wishes and ideas and, with great sensitivity, turned them into a coherent, well thought-out and modern web design. We always felt understood and are still delighted with the great result. To this day he is our first point of contact whenever something new comes up.
Martina DziegielewiczCo-founder, ON PHYSIO
Edgar has been with our firm from the very beginning. We particularly value the trusting collaboration, his high standards of quality and his clear communication. With his ideas and his honest outside perspective, he has become a valued partner of Quint.
Toni WuCEO, Quint
You have a lot to say, I make sure people get it at once. With design that strengthens your brand, is clearly structured and still looks good years from now.

Free and with no strings attached, we clarify what you need and whether we're a good fit. Then you get a clear proposal.
We go through a detailed set of questions until I truly understand your project.
I design in an open, transparent exchange with you, so there are no surprises at the end.
You receive all final files, neatly prepared and ready to use.

First the brand, then website and print: all from one designer, in time for the opening.
A short call, then the proposal.
By video call with both founders.
Logo in two rounds, then colours and type.
Online in time for the opening.
Much of it after the opening, one piece at a time.
Still their contact, most recently for icons on the practice signs.
Scope, timeline and price are settled before I begin. No surprises on the invoice.
You talk directly to the person doing the design. Nothing gets lost on the way through project managers and departments.
Print files, web formats and templates, neatly named, sorted and prepared so your team can keep working with them.
In brand projects, guidelines set out how logo, colours and type are used. So your brand stays consistent, no matter who works on it.
I'm Edgar, and for more than ten years I've been designing brands that work in everyday life. With me you get one contact who listens, thinks along and delivers quickly. And who is still there for you after the project.
More about meThat depends on the scope: a logo is a different job than a full brand identity with website and print, so there's no price list. Tell me in the free intro call what you have in mind, and you'll get a proposal with a fixed scope, timeline and price. If you already have a budget in mind, just say so: then I'll show you what's possible with it.
There's no one-size-fits-all answer. How fast things go depends on the requirements, the amount of work and my free capacity. Some things I've delivered within a few hours, and single tasks such as an ad or a flyer are often done in a few days. A full brand identity takes one to three months, depending on scope. It goes fastest when you already know exactly what you want. We fix the exact timeline in the proposal. If you have a hard deadline, such as a trade fair or a launch, it's best to mention it in the intro call.
Not a finished brief. It's enough to tell me what you're planning and where you're stuck. In the kick-off we then go through my set of questions: goals, audience, competitors, deadlines. Anything that already exists helps: logo, copy, images and existing materials.
Brand design, web design, packaging, illustration, advertising, art direction, event design, print design and presentations, from the logo to the website and packaging to the trade fair stand. Often several areas come together in one project. That's exactly when it pays off that everything comes from one source.
With me you talk directly to the person doing the design, with no project manager in between and no handing your project around internally. That keeps things short and personal. I still know the agency side: I was at Jung von Matt, coordinated client projects at THINKS Design for three years and then led design at halpy and awork. If your project needs a bigger team, I'll tell you so honestly in the intro call.
I show you work in progress early on instead of presenting a finished result at the end. That way we adjust along the way rather than at the very end, and there are no surprises. How many revision rounds are included is stated in the proposal.
You receive all final files, neatly prepared and ready to use: print files for the printer, formats for web and social media and, in brand projects, the brand guidelines. Which usage rights you receive and whether source files are included is stated in the proposal before we start.
No. I'm based in Hamburg and work remotely for clients wherever they are, in German or English. We coordinate by video call and email. In and around Hamburg I'm happy to come by in person for a kick-off or workshop.
I design in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere. I build websites in Wix Studio or Framer, or directly in code with AI support rather than as a classic developer. I build presentations in Pitch, Google Slides or PowerPoint. On top of that come AI tools such as Claude Code, Gemini and Antigravity, wherever they make the work faster or better.
Yes, if you'd like me to. I'm not a classic developer, but I have a basic understanding of HTML and CSS and have built a lot directly in code with AI support, including this website. That covers landing pages and widgets, but also entire tools and document generators, code-based email templates that can be integrated into different systems, and code-based email signatures. These are only examples, and much more is possible. For larger projects I work with your development team and hand over the designs so they can get started right away.
