STRYVE Packaging

Packaging, Print Design, 2023

STRYVE develops sports products for training, recovery and active sitting: well thought out, sustainable and easy to use.

I designed some of the packs myself. Above all, though, I helped define the system behind them: I straightened out the existing basis and made it more consistent. That way a range of more than 40 products visibly belongs together, and every change can be rolled out to all packs without much effort.

Packaging Examples

A selection of the packaging I designed for STRYVE.

To make the range belong together, all packaging is built from the same components: hero shot, product name and subline, a short description, features with icons, illustrations (a person with the product and an animal), dimensions, materials and colour variant. Added to that are logos, the “Designed by THINKS” seal, the “For the planet” note, a short text about the brand, the URL, plus article number and EAN code.

There are exceptions too: some products come with workout plans or have won a design award, and both then belong on the packaging. On small packaging, in turn, individual components have to be left out for lack of space.

Font sizes are standardised as well, graded by the size of the packaging.
